CIPMA was pleased to welcome Canada's Minister of Natural Resources to the 2009 Canadian Fuel Marketing Conference, which wrapped up on April 8, 2009. The Minister addressed several of the concerns facing the industry and the economy recognizing the growing importance that the independent fuel marketing and distribution sector plays in bringing quality fuel products to the Canadian public. The conference was marked by excellent speakers including Denis Desrosiers of Desrosiers Automotive Consultants and Diane Brisebois of the Retail Council of Canada speaking on the Canada's payments industry. The Canadian Fuel Marketing Conference is an all-industry conference hosted by CIPMA where marketers, suppliers and all industry stakeholders are welcome to network and learn about industry trends.
